Finding Joy While Living with Chronic Pain (Julia)

I completed two 12-week coaching programs with Ryan, and the transformation was incredible.

After 12 weeks: Throughout my life, I set measurable goals for my career, physical strength, and health. What I never realized was that I had no goals focused on my own self-care or well-being. When I began coaching, I felt stuck. I had reached a point where I no longer believed personal growth was possible. I also felt overwhelmed by the demands of caregiving, learning how to be the grandmother I wanted to be, and managing chronic pain that kept me from enjoying the activities I loved. Ryan helped me slow down and become aware of my emotions when I faced challenges. Rather than reacting automatically, I learned how to respond with greater intention and positivity. That simple shift was life-changing. The impact reached every area of my life. My relationships became stronger, my stress became more manageable, and I experienced significantly less pain, allowing me to return to many of the physical activities I loved. After 24 weeks: During my second round of coaching, I realized that growth is not limited to a career—it is something that happens within. I learned how to live with joy. I began finding joy in ordinary moments and approached life from a place of calm rather than frustration or unhappiness. For the first time, my inner life began to match what others saw. I started seeing each day as a gift. Even on the days when I struggled physically, I learned to appreciate simple moments that I would have overlooked before. Coaching also gave me the confidence to step outside my comfort zone and build meaningful relationships. Coaching with Ryan has been one of the best investments I have ever made in myself. It taught me that I am worthy of caring for myself and that the most meaningful goals are not only the ones we accomplish externally, but also the ones that transform us internally. From Reactivity to Emotional Balance (Sara)

I was tempted to bring a long, comprehensive list of goals to check off before each session, but Ryan helped me focus on smaller, attainable goals that built momentum over the course of 12 weeks. He also taught me to apply an experimental mindset, where nothing has to be permanent. By treating changes as experiments, I was able to discover what actually produced results and to approach the world with curiosity.
